NAHETS Introduces Heavy Equipment Trainer ToolKit at 2014 CONEXPO-CONAGG Show

Could there be a better place to introduce an innovative, comprehensive, heavy equipment training system than at the mega CONEXPO-CONAGG Show in Las Vegas? At the National Association of Heavy Equipment Training Services (NAHETS), we think it’s the perfect time and place to announce our new Trainer ToolKits, a system which is designed to give company trainers the tools they need to effectively cover basic safety and operational information with heavy equipment operators of all levels.

The Trainer ToolKits system is a part of our overall Adaptable Equipment Proficiency Testing (ADEPT) Certification and Assessment suite of products and services. The 5764-NAHETS-ADEPT-logo_03ADEPT system is designed to measure the knowledge and skills of a heavy equipment operator against industry and regulatory standards and expectations using a validated and transparent testing process. The ToolKits are designed to be a refresher course and is an excellent tool that prepares operators for the ADEPT written exams.

“Our new Trainer ToolKits product is a game-changer because it provides the vital information company trainers need in a concise and user-friendly manner,” says Jarad Van Wagoner, Director of Development.

The end results are better and more-informed trainers who produce better, safer, and more effective operators out in the field. That is a huge win for everybody involved from company management and ownership to clients to employees. Every new training product and system that we introduce at NAHETS has been built on our years and years of certification, assessment, and training experience, and we believe our methods are the best in the business. Our satisfied customers and students continually share their success and appreciation with us, and the positive response we are getting at CONEXPO-CONAGG once again validates what we are doing.”

Conexpo-panorama (1)The Trainer ToolKits system is available for various pieces of equipment including backhoe, bulldozer, wheel loaders, excavators, motor graders, and others. In addition, the ToolKits offer review information for basic topics such as trenching and shoring, rigging for heavy equipment operators, grades and site layout, soils, blueprint reading, earthmoving,  and various other subjects. The ADEPT process is validated and monitored at every step. As part of the validation process, each domain, outcome, and assessment tool has been reviewed by experienced subject matter experts and field-tested for accuracy and applicability.

Our main goal at NAHETS is to improve the safety and effectiveness of heavy equipment operators in order to benefit the operator, the employer, the client, the insurer and all other interested parties. It’s a goal our executives, staff and faculty embrace on daily basis — a goal we take very seriously. The Trainer ToolKits and our other ADEPT products allow us (and our students and clients) to meet and exceed this goal on every job site.
